A Jewel in the crown of Rotary Club of Pollachi the Rotary Electric Crematorium that was dedicated to the public in February 2000.The Pollachi Rotary Electric Crematorium was the first of its kind in a taluk centre in our country .Many other Rotary clubs have followed the examples set by us and executed similar projects in their regions. |

Rotary Club of Pollachi has organized a number of seminars over the years.Indus Poll,an entrepreneur development programme organized by our club resulted in the development of a number of small industries in and around Pollachi.The Tamil Nadu Coconut Research Centre in Aliyar near Pollachi is the result of a Coconut seminar organized by us.Apart from the above,a lot of seminars on health,AIDS aware-ness,ethics,water conservation,economics and language have been organized by our club over the years.The coir training centre at subbegoundenpudur village and the tailoring centre at Pollachi |
